The hostel's free WiFi throughout the property made it super easy for me to stay connected and share my adventures with my friends back home. I could even video call them and it was as smooth as silk!

Windows in the private room would have been nice.

Great location just a short walk from the main street and close to the Cahal Pech Mayan site. The hostel has all the facilities you need, including a lovely bar area and air conditioning. The staff, especially Javier, were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hostel for its service and care.

The hostel had a great location near restaurants and tour operators. The room was basic, but comfortable with AC and a private bathroom. The staff was friendly and the manager, Javier Pereira, went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Hot water was a luxury here and the hostel provided it! a great value for the price.

our stay at kawoq was outstanding! the family room was spacious, clean, and had great aircon. the kitchen had everything we needed, the bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the evening music was a nice touch. definitely one of the best hostels we've stayed at!

The hostel is conveniently located in the heart of town, making it easy to explore. The rooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and individual AC control. The common areas, including the bar and hammocks, were great for socializing and relaxing. The kitchen was well-stocked and the staff ensured it was kept clean. I had a fantastic stay at Kawoq hostel and highly recommend it.
